Looking for any example(s) you all have of getting bad results from any kind of AI tools you used for sales.
Specifically…
- What incorrect information did you get?
- How far off was the accuracy?
- DId you flag it before you presented it to a customer?
- What tool did you use?
I remember using ChatGPT last year (2023) and I was profiling an account. This particular company was a private company that went public a few months prior to me using ChatGPT.
First thing I noticed was that it was still considered a “Private company” by ChatGPT. Data was stale and outdated. With that being said, I began diving deeper into the Databook Platform to profile this account and I found out that ChatGPT did NOT have their latest earnings reports or the most recent 10K.
ChatGPT could also NOT display any repeatable wins or Uses Cases for the said company. This is critical when discussing solutions with a customer.

I’ve seen inaccurate, questionable data come from ChatGPT several times when asking about financial information and strategic priorities. Usually surfaceing out-of-date financial intel and strategic priorities from unreliable sources.
